The Vainness of All Things Apart From Allah

SUMMARY: Everything apart from Allah is vain and meaningless.

Abu Huraira reported: I heard Allah's Messenger as saying: The truest word which the poet stated is the word of Labid: "Behold! apart from Allah everything is vain".

This hadith teaches us to put our trust in Allah alone as He is the only one who can provide us with true guidance and help in times of need. We should not rely on anyone or anything else as they are all temporary and will eventually come to an end.
