EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the punishment of mistreating animals. It is narrated by Abu Huraira, who reported that Allah's Messenger said that a woman was punished because she did not provide food or drink to a cat, nor set her free so that she could eat the vermin of the earth. This hadith teaches us to be kind and compassionate towards animals and not to mistreat them in any way. We should take care of our pets and other animals around us, providing them with food and water as well as setting them free if they are caged or tied up. Doing so will bring blessings from Allah upon us, while mistreating animals will result in punishment from Him.
