The Prophet's Teachings on Geckos

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) spoke about the gecko as a noxious creature, but did not command to kill them.

'A'isha reported that Allah's Messenger said about the gecko as a noxious creature". Harmala made this addition that she said: I did not hear that he had commanded to kill them.
وَحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ، وَحَرْمَلَةُ، قَالاَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ لِلْوَزَغِ ‏ "‏ الْفُوَيْسِقُ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ زَادَ حَرْمَلَةُ قَالَتْ وَلَمْ أَسْمَعْهُ أَمَرَ بِقَتْلِهِ
