Funeral Prayer of As-Hama An-Najash

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) offered the funeral prayer of As-Hama An-Najash and said four Takbir.

Narrated Jabir: The Prophet offered the funeral prayer of As-Hama An-Najash and said four Takbir.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سَلِيمُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مِينَاءَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى عَلَى أَصْحَمَةَ النَّجَاشِيِّ فَكَبَّرَ أَرْبَعًا‏.‏ وَقَالَ يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ وَعَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ عَنْ سَلِيمٍ أَصْحَمَةَ‏.‏ وَتَابَعَهُ عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ‏.‏

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ offered the funeral prayer for a deceased person named As-Hama An-Najash. This hadith teaches us that we should show respect for those who have passed away by offering them a proper funeral prayer and remembering them in our prayers. It also reminds us to always glorify Allah in all situations no matter how difficult they may be.
