QUICK LESSONS:
Give your children meaningful Islamic Names that will help them remember God & His Messenger(ﷺ) throughout life .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith emphasizes the importance of giving children meaningful names in Islam. It is narrated by Abu Huraira and 'Amr reported from Abu Huraira that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said to give names after his own name but not to use his kunya, which was "Abu'l-Qasim". A kunya is a nickname or title given to a person based on their firstborn child's name, such as "Abu Bakr" meaning "father of Bakr". The Prophet ﷺ wanted people to focus on giving meaningful names rather than nicknames or titles. He also wanted people to remember him through his name rather than through any other title or nickname. This hadith teaches us that it is important for Muslims to give their children meaningful Islamic names that will help them remember God and His Messenger ﷺ throughout their lives.
