The Bell and the Satan

SUMMARY: The bell is an instrument of the Satan and should not be used.

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger as saying: The bell is the musical instrument of the Satan.
وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، وَقُتَيْبَةُ، وَابْنُ، حُجْرٍ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، - يَعْنُونَ ابْنَ جَعْفَرٍ - عَنِ الْعَلاَءِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ ‏ "‏ الْجَرَسُ مَزَامِيرُ الشَّيْطَانِ
