Avoiding Portraits and Pictures in the House

SUMMARY: Angels do not enter a house with pictures or portraits.

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger as saying: Angels do not enter the house in which there are portrayals or pictures.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ بِلاَلٍ، عَنْ سُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ‏ "‏ لاَ تَدْخُلُ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ بَيْتًا فِيهِ تَمَاثِيلُ أَوْ تَصَاوِيرُ
