The Prophet's Visit to A'isha

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) visited A'isha and removed a carpet with pictures on it, which was then used to make cushions.

A'isha reported: Allah's Apostle visited me when I had screened (my door) with a carpet having pictures on it. He removed it and we made cushions out of that.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ دَخَلَ النَّبِيُّ عَلَىَّ وَقَدْ سَتَرْتُ نَمَطًا فِيهِ تَصَاوِيرُ فَنَحَّاهُ فَاتَّخَذْتُ مِنْهُ وِسَادَتَيْنِ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the visit of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ to his wife, A’isha. During his visit, he noticed that she had a carpet with pictures on it. He asked her to remove it and they made cushions out of the material instead. This hadith teaches us that we should be mindful of our actions and avoid anything that could be considered as disrespectful or inappropriate in Islam.
