Follow instructions given by elders/religious leaders without question; Be humble in your actions & possessions; Respect elders/religious leaders; Wear your rings with humility & respect; Do not show off your wealth or status through material possessions .

The hadith is about the signet ring that was owned by the Prophet Muhammad. It was made out of gold and then silver, and it had his name engraved on it. He instructed others not to engrave anything similar to this ring. When he wore it, he kept its stone towards the inside of his palm so that no one could see what was written on it. Unfortunately, this ring fell off from Mu'ayqib's hands into a well called Aris. This hadith teaches us that we should be humble in our actions and possessions as even though the Prophet owned something valuable like a signet ring, he still kept its stone hidden from view so as not to draw attention or show off his wealth or status. We should also follow instructions given by our elders and religious leaders without question as they are for our own benefit in this life and hereafter.
