The Prophet's Bed

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad slept on a bed made of leather stuffed with palm fibre.

A'isha reported that the bedding on which. Allah's Messenger slept was made of leather stuffed with palm fibre.
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ السَّعْدِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ إِنَّمَا كَانَ فِرَاشُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي يَنَامُ عَلَيْهِ أَدَمًا حَشْوُهُ لِيفٌ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith tells us about the bedding that the Prophet Muhammad used to sleep on. It was made of leather stuffed with palm fibre, which was a common material used in those days for making beds and mattresses. This hadith teaches us that even though the Prophet Muhammad was a great leader, he still lived simply and did not indulge in luxuries or extravagance. He set an example for us to follow by living modestly and humbly, no matter how much wealth or power we may have.
