QUICK LESSONS:
Be compassionate towards those who are in need of help or assistance.
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad granting permission, or concession, for Zubair and Abd Al-Rahman to wear silk due to an itch they both had. The Prophet Muhammad was known for his mercy and compassion towards others, so it is no surprise that he granted this concession in order to ease their suffering. This teaches us that we should be compassionate towards those who are in need of help or assistance, even if it means making a small exception from the norm. We should also remember that Allah is Most Merciful and He will reward us for our kindness towards others.
