QUICK LESSONS:
Be mindful of your consumption; Share resources; Follow Prophet Muhammad's example; Don't waste food
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the preparation of a beverage called Nabidh. It was made from raisins and stored in a waterskin. Prophet Muhammad would drink it on the first day, then on the second and third day as well. He would also share it with his companions before throwing away any leftovers at night on the third day. This hadith teaches us to be mindful of our consumption, not to waste food, and to share what we have with others in need. We should also strive to follow Prophet Muhammad’s example by being generous with our resources while still being mindful of how much we consume ourselves.
