Prohibiting the Preparation of Nabidh in Gourd or Varnished Jar

SUMMARY: Allah's Messenger forbade the preparation of Nabidh in gourd or varnished jar.

Anas b. Malik reported that Allah's Messenger forbade the preparation of Nabidh in gourd or varnished jar.
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّهُ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ نَهَى عَنِ الدُّبَّاءِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ أَنْ يُنْبَذَ فِيهِ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about Allah's Messenger forbidding the preparation of a beverage called Nabidh in gourds or varnished jars.
