Prohibition of Intoxicants from Dates

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) forbade the mixing of fresh and unripe dates to make an intoxicant.

Anas b. Malik is reported to have said that Allah's Messenger had forbidden to mixture fresh dates and unripe dates and then drinking (the wine prepared out of it), and that was their common intoxicant when liquor was prohibited.

QUICK LESSONS:
Abstain from consuming any type of intoxicant
EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught us that it is forbidden to mix fresh and unripe dates together in order to make an intoxicant. This was a common practice among people before liquor was prohibited by Allah. It is important for us to remember that we should not consume any type of intoxicant as it can lead us away from the path of righteousness and piety. We must also be mindful not to engage in activities that are considered haram or unlawful according to Islamic teachings as this will bring about negative consequences for ourselves and our communities.
