EXPLANATIONS:
Making provision for a journey is an important part of preparing to travel. This hadith tells us that when making these preparations, we should do so with the intention of pleasing Allah. This means that we should not only think about our own needs but also consider how our actions can benefit others and bring us closer to God. We can do this by being generous in our provisioning and sacrificing some of what we have in order to help those who are less fortunate than ourselves. By doing this, we will be rewarded both in this life and the hereafter.
