Praying with a Clear Mind

SUMMARY: One should not pray until their mind is free from any thoughts or desires that may distract them from the prayer.

This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Ibn Umar through another chain of transmitters.
وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ، بْنُ رَافِعٍ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا الضَّحَّاكُ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ عُثْمَانَ - كِلاَهُمَا عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ اللَّيْثِ
