Eating Locusts During Expeditions with the Prophet Muhammad

SUMMARY: Eating locusts was a common practice during expeditions with the Prophet Muhammad.

Ibn Abu Aufa reported: We went on seven expeditions with Allah's Messenger and ate locusts.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ الْجَحْدَرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي يَعْفُورٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ، أَبِي أَوْفَى قَالَ غَزَوْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ سَبْعَ غَزَوَاتٍ نَأْكُلُ الْجَرَادَ
