Sahih al-Bukhari 121 (Book 3, Hadith 63) #121
Reverting to Disbelief After the Prophet (ﷺ)

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) warned people against killing each other and reverting to disbelief after him.

Narrated Jarir: The Prophet said to me during Hajjat-al-Wida': Let the people keep quiet and listen. Then he said (addressing the people), "Do not (become infidels) revert to disbelief after me by striking the necks (cutting the throats) of one another (killing each other).

QUICK LESSONS:
Strive for peace and harmony among ourselves even if we disagree on certain matters of faith or practice .

EXPLANATIONS:
In this hadith, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is warning his followers against reverting to disbelief after him and killing each other. He was giving this advice during Hajjat-al-Wida', which was his last pilgrimage before he passed away. He wanted people to be peaceful and not fight with one another, as it would lead them away from faith in Allah SWT. This hadith teaches us that we should always strive for peace and harmony among ourselves, even if we disagree on certain matters of faith or practice. We should never resort to violence or aggression when trying to resolve our differences, as it will only lead us further away from Allah SWT's mercy and guidance.
