QUICK LESSONS:
Obey Allah's Commands

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the importance of obedience to Allah's commands and how it can lead one to success in this world and in the hereafter. It is narrated on the authority of Umair b. Umm Hani who said that she heard Mu'awiya say that he heard Prophet Muhammad say that a group of people from his umma will remain obedient to Allah's commands and those who oppose them or desert them won't be able to do any harm. They will dominate over other people until Resurrection is established on the Day of Judgement. This hadith teaches us that if we are obedient towards Allah, He will grant us success in this world as well as in the hereafter by making us dominant over others even if they try their best against us. We should always strive for obedience towards Him so we can reap its rewards both here and hereafter.
