QUICK LESSONS:
Strive for excellence in all our actions , Take care when killing animals
EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us that we should strive for excellence in all our actions. This includes being careful when killing animals for food or other purposes by sharpening the blade used for slaughtering so that it causes minimal pain or suffering to the animal. We should also take care not to cause any unnecessary harm or distress while performing any action as this is what Allah has prescribed for us. This hadith teaches us that even though we may have a need or purpose behind an action, we must still ensure that it is done with care and consideration towards others around us - whether they are humans or animals - so as not to cause them any harm or distress unnecessarily.
