Visit your relatives with respect and kindness; Show humility when interacting with them; Treat everyone equally regardless if they are family or not; Be compassionate towards others; Show love towards one another regardless if you are related or not .

This hadith speaks of the importance of visiting relatives and showing them respect and kindness. It is narrated by Abdullah b. Abd al-Rahman that he heard Anas b. Malik say that the Prophet Muhammad paid a visit to Milhan's daughter, who was the maternal aunt of Anas and the sister of the Holy Prophet's foster-mother. During this visit, he showed her respect by placing his head near her as a sign of humility and kindness towards her as a relative. This hadith teaches us to be kind to our relatives no matter how distant they may be from us, for it is an act pleasing to Allah SWT which will bring about blessings in our lives as well as theirs'. We should also remember that we are all related in some way or another through our faith in Islam, so we should treat each other with love and compassion regardless if they are family or not.
