Look after your family's welfare; Protect your wealth; Do good deeds even if you cannot physically participate in activities; Receive reward from Allah SWT for doing so.

This hadith is about how looking after family and wealth is rewarded. The Prophet Muhammad PBUH sent a force to Banu Lihyan, which was an expedition known as Sariyyah in Arabic. He then said that those who stayed behind to look after the family and wealth of those going on this expedition would be rewarded with half of what warriors receive as Thawab or reward from Allah SWT. This hadith teaches us that looking after our families, taking care of our loved ones, and protecting our wealth are all important values that should be upheld in society. It also shows us that even if we are not able to go out into battle or take part in physical activities, we can still receive rewards from Allah SWT for doing good deeds such as taking care of our families and protecting their assets.
