Death in the Way of Allah

SUMMARY: Dying in the way of Allah will erase all sins except debt.

It has been reported on the authority of Amr b. al-'As through a different chain of transmitters that the Messenger of Allah said: Death in the way of Allah blots out everything except debt.

QUICK LESSONS:
Prioritize faith over worldly matters , Do good deeds regardless of reward , Pay off debts before death , Clear conscience before passing away

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about how dying in the way of Allah can erase all sins except debt. It was reported by Amr b. al-'As that the Messenger of Allah said that death in the way of Allah blots out everything except debt. This means that if a person dies while doing something for their faith, such as fighting for it, then all their sins will be forgiven and forgotten by God, with one exception - any debts they owe to other people must still be paid off even after death. This hadith teaches us to prioritize our faith over worldly matters and encourages us to do good deeds even if we are not sure whether or not we will get rewarded for them in this life or the next one. It also reminds us to always pay off our debts so that we can die with a clear conscience and without any worries about what might happen after our death.
