Travelling with the Quran in Enemy Lands

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) advised against taking the Quran with you when travelling to enemy lands, as it may fall into their hands.

It has been narrated on the authority of Abdullah b. Umar that the Messenger of Allah used to forbid that one should travel to the land of the enemy taking the Qur'an (with him) lest it should fall into the hands of the enemy.

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us that we should not take the Quran with us when travelling to enemy lands, as it may fall into their hands and be misused or disrespected. He wanted us to protect our holy book from any harm or disrespect, so he advised against taking it with us in such situations. This hadith teaches us that we should always respect and protect our holy book, no matter what situation we are in. We should also be careful about where we take it and who has access to it, so that its sanctity is preserved at all times.
