Sahih Muslim 1353c (Book 33, Hadith 125) #11935
The Importance of Jihad and Sincerity

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said that there is no longer a need for Hijra, but rather Jihad and sincerity of purpose are the most important things.

It has been narrated on the authority of Ibn 'Abbas that the Messenger of Allah said on the day of the Conquest of Mecca: There is no Hijra now, but (only) Jihad (fighting for the cause of Islam) and sincerity of purpose (have great reward) ; when you are asked to set out (on an expedition undertaken for the cause of Islam) you should (readily) do so.

QUICK LESSONS:
Fight for what you believe in , Have sincere intentions , Set out on expeditions undertaken by Allah's commandment

EXPLANATIONS:
On the day of the Conquest of Mecca, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught his followers an important lesson about how to live their lives. He said that there was no longer a need for Hijra, which is when someone leaves their home in order to practice their religion freely. Instead, he said that what was most important was Jihaad and Ikhlaas. Jihaad means fighting for the cause of Islam while Ikhlaas means having sincere intentions in all your actions. He also encouraged people to set out on expeditions undertaken for the cause of Islam if they were asked to do so. This hadith teaches us that we should always strive to have good intentions in our actions and be willing to fight for what we believe in even if it requires us leaving our homes or going on an expedition.
