The Battles and Pilgrimage of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) fought 19 battles and performed one pilgrimage.

It has been narrated on the authority of Zaid b. Arqam that the Messenger of Allah fought nineteen battles and after the Migration performed only one Pilgrimage called Hajjat-ul-Wada'.
وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ، سَمِعَهُ مِنْهُ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ غَزَا تِسْعَ عَشْرَةَ غَزْوَةً وَحَجَّ بَعْدَ مَا هَاجَرَ حَجَّةً لَمْ يَحُجَّ غَيْرَهَا حَجَّةَ الْوَدَاعِ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the battles and pilgrimage of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). He fought 19 battles in his lifetime before he migrated from Mecca to Medina. After his migration, he only performed one pilgrimage called Hajjat-ul-Wada'. This hadith teaches us that we should strive to do our best in whatever we do and that even if it is difficult or challenging, we should not give up but keep going until we reach our goal. It also teaches us that no matter how hard something may seem at first, with dedication and perseverance it can be achieved.
