Praying for Forgiveness of Ansar and Muhajirs

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) prayed to God to forgive the Ansar and Muhajirs.

It has been narrated on the authority of Anas b. Malik that the Messenger of Allah said: O God, there is no life, but the life of the Hereafter, So forgive Thou the Ansar and the Muhajirs.
وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، وَابْنُ، بَشَّارٍ - وَاللَّفْظُ لاِبْنِ الْمُثَنَّى - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ، جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ أَنَّهُ قَالَ ‏ "‏ اللَّهُمَّ لاَ عَيْشَ إِلاَّ عَيْشُ الآخِرَهْ فَاغْفِرْ لِلأَنْصَارِ وَالْمُهَاجِرَهْ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's prayer to God asking for forgiveness of the Ansar and Muhajirs. The Ansar were people from Medina who helped the Prophet Muhammad when he migrated from Mecca, while the Muhajirs were those who migrated with him from Mecca. This hadith teaches us that we should always be grateful for those who help us in our lives, and that we should pray for their forgiveness as well as our own. It also shows us how important it is to have faith in God's mercy and power, as He can forgive all sins if we ask Him sincerely.
