Transmitting Traditions with Variations

SUMMARY: This hadith is about a tradition that has been transmitted by different narrators with slight differences in the wording.

A similar tradition has been transmitted by a different chain of narrators, on the same authority with a slight difference In the wording.
حَدَّثَنَا حَامِدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْبَكْرَاوِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يَقُولُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسٌ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ‏ "‏ مَنْ يَعْلَمُ لِي مَا فَعَلَ أَبُو جَهْلٍ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ عُلَيَّةَ وَقَوْلِ أَبِي مِجْلَزٍ كَمَا ذَكَرَهُ إِسْمَاعِيلُ
