EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks to the importance of following Allah’s commands and not taking matters into one’s own hands. The Prophet Muhammad asked his followers what his name was as a reminder that he was only a messenger from God and that they should follow His orders instead of their own desires. This hadith teaches us to be obedient to God and His messenger in all matters so that we can live our lives according to His will. We must remember that we are only servants of God and it is our duty to obey Him in all things.
