Adjudging Cases with the Judgement of God

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) praised Sa'd for his judgement which was in accordance with the judgement of God.

It has been narrated on the authority of Hisham (who learnt it from his father) that the Messenger of Allah said (to Sa'd): You have adjudged their case with the judgment of God. the Exalted and Glorified.
وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، قَالَ قَالَ أَبِي فَأُخْبِرْتُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ ‏ "‏ لَقَدْ حَكَمْتَ فِيهِمْ بِحُكْمِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ

This hadith is about justice and obedience to God's laws. It tells us that when we make decisions, we should always strive to make them according to what is right and just in the eyes of Allah. The Prophet Muhammad praised Sa'd for his judgement which was in accordance with the judgement of God. This shows us that it is important to be fair and just when making decisions, as this will please Allah and bring blessings upon us. We should also remember that our actions must always be done out of obedience to Allah's laws, as this will ensure that our lives are lived according to His will.
