Adjudging According to God's Command

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) praised Sa'd for his judgement and compared it to the command of God and the decision of a king.

Through the same chain of transmitters Shu'ba has narrated the same tradition in which he says that the Messenger of Allah said (to Sa'd): You have adjudged according to the command of God. And once he said: you have adjudged by the decision of a king.

QUICK LESSONS:
Make judgements according to what Allah has commanded us in our religion.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of making judgements according to God's commands. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) praised Sa'd for his judgement and compared it to the command of God and the decision of a king. This shows that we should always strive to make decisions that are in line with what Allah has commanded us in our religion. We should not be swayed by our own desires or opinions when making decisions but instead look towards what Allah has said in His holy book, the Quran. Making decisions based on this will lead us closer to Him and bring us success both in this life and hereafter.
