Rewards of Expedition to Najd

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad sent an expedition to Najd and gave each person an extra camel as a reward.

It has been narrated by Ibn 'Umar that the Messenger of Allah sent an expedition to Najd, and I (also) went with the troops. We got camels and goats as spoils of war, and our share amounted to twelve camels per head, and the Messenger of Allah gave an extra camel to each of us.

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad sent an expedition to the region of Najd, and Ibn 'Umar was part of the troops. As a reward for their efforts, they were given camels and goats as spoils of war, with each person receiving twelve camels. However, the Prophet Muhammad showed his generosity by giving each person an extra camel as a bonus. This hadith teaches us that hard work should be rewarded and that generosity is highly valued in Islam. It also shows us how much importance was placed on helping others in need by providing them with resources or assistance when possible.
