Inviting Attention in Prayer

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) taught that men should say "Sub Han Allah" to invite the attention of the Imam in prayer, while women should clap their hands.

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "The saying 'Sub Han Allah' is for men and clapping is for women". (If something happens in the prayer, the men can invite the attention of the Imam by saying "Sub Han Allah". And women, by clapping their hands).
