Going on Expedition Together

SUMMARY: The Prophet (PBUH) was addressing a group of people and reminded them that when they go on an expedition, no one should be left behind.

Dawud narrated the hadith with the same chain of transmitters (and the words are): Allah's Apostle stood tip (to address the audience) in the evening and praised Allah, glorified Him and then said: What about the people, that as we set out on an expedition, one of you remained behind us and he shrieked like the bleating of a male goat? But he did not mention (these words): People connected with us".

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was addressing a group of people and reminded them that when they go on an expedition, no one should be left behind. He used the example of someone who shrieked like the bleating of a male goat to emphasize his point. This hadith teaches us the importance of togetherness and solidarity in times of difficulty or hardship. It is important for us to remember that we are all part of a collective unit and must look out for each other’s well-being. We must not forget our responsibility towards our fellow brothers and sisters in Islam, especially during times where we need to rely on each other’s support.
