Rejecting Intentional Harm

SUMMARY: This hadith is about a person who bit the arm of another person and the matter was referred to Allah's Apostle. He rejected it and asked if the person intended to bite his hand like a camel does.

Safwan b. Ya'la reported that a person bit the arm of the servant of Ya'la b. Munya. He pulled it and his foretooth fell. The matter was referred to Allah's Apostle and he turned it down and said: Did you intend to bite his hand, as the camel bites?

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about a situation where one person bit another's arm, causing their tooth to fall out. The matter was brought before Allah's Apostle, who rejected it and asked if the person intended to bite his hand like a camel does. This hadith teaches us that intentional harm should be rejected, as it is not acceptable in Islam. We should strive for peace and harmony in our relationships with others, even when we are wronged or hurt by them. We must remember that Allah will judge us for our actions, so we must always act with justice and mercy towards others even when they do not deserve it from us. Additionally, this hadith also teaches us that we should think carefully before taking any action which may cause harm or injury to someone else - even if it seems justified at first glance - as this could lead to serious consequences in the future.
