Sahih Muslim 1666a (Book 27, Hadith 69) #11433
Rewards for Fulfilling Obligations

SUMMARY: A slave who fulfills the obligations of Allah and his master will be rewarded twice.

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger as saying: When a slave fulfills obligation of Allah and obligation of his master, he has two rewards for him. I narrated this to Ka'b, and Ka'b said: (Such a slave) has no accountability, nor has a poor believer.

QUICK LESSONS:
Fulfill your obligations to Allah and your master .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the importance of fulfilling one's obligations. It is narrated by Abu Huraira that Prophet Muhammad said that when a slave fulfills their obligation to Allah and their master, they will be rewarded twice. Ka'b then added that such a slave would have no accountability nor would a poor believer. This hadith teaches us to fulfill our duties towards Allah as well as our masters or those in authority over us, so we can receive rewards from both sides. It also shows us the importance of being generous towards those who are less fortunate than us, as it is mentioned that even a poor believer has no accountability in this situation.
