Rewards for Fighting in the Cause of Allah

SUMMARY: This hadith speaks of the rewards that will be given to those who fight in the cause of Allah.

This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Abu Zinad with the same chain of transmitters with a variation of (these words): " Every one of them giving birth to a child, who would have fought in the cause of Allah".
وَحَدَّثَنِيهِ سُوَيْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي، الزِّنَادِ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ مِثْلَهُ ‏.‏ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ ‏ "‏ كُلُّهَا تَحْمِلُ غُلاَمًا يُجَاهِدُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the rewards that will be given to those who fight in the cause of Allah. It is narrated by Abu Zinad and it states that everyone who gives birth to a child who fights in the cause of Allah will receive a reward from Him. The reward could be anything from blessings and mercy to forgiveness and acceptance into Paradise. This hadith teaches us that we should strive to do good deeds for our Lord and He will reward us accordingly. We should also encourage our children to do good deeds so they can receive their own rewards from Him as well.
