Asking for Mounts from the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)

SUMMARY: The hadith is about a group of people asking the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) for mounts.

Abu Musa reported: We walked on foot and came to Allah's Apostle (may peace he upon him) asking him to provide us with mounts. The rest of the hadith is the same.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى التَّيْمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو السَّلِيلِ، عَنْ زَهْدَمٍ، يُحَدِّثُهُ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، قَالَ كُنَّا مُشَاةً فَأَتَيْنَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ نَسْتَحْمِلُهُ ‏.‏ بِنَحْوِ حَدِيثِ جَرِيرٍ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about a group of people who went to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and asked for mounts. The Prophet was very generous and provided them with what they needed. This hadith teaches us that we should always turn to Allah's Messenger in times of need and ask Him for help. We should also remember that He will always provide us with whatever we need if it is within His power to do so. It also teaches us that we should never forget to show gratitude when someone helps us out, as this was something that was highly valued by the Prophet himself.
