The Prophet's Prayer Routine

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) always prayed four rak'at before the Zuhr prayer and two rak'at before the Fajr prayer.

Narrated Aisha: The Prophet never missed four rak'at before the Zuhr prayer and two rak'at before the Fajr prayer.
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْتَشِرِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ كَانَ لاَ يَدَعُ أَرْبَعًا قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْغَدَاةِ‏.‏ تَابَعَهُ ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ وَعَمْرٌو عَنْ شُعْبَةَ‏.‏
