Sahih Muslim 1552c (Book 22, Hadith 9) #11094
Rewards for Cultivating Plants

SUMMARY: A Muslim will be rewarded for anything that is eaten from the plants they cultivate, even if it is eaten by animals or birds.

Jabir b. 'Abdullah (Allah be pleased with them) reported: I heard Allah's Messenger saying: Never does a Muslim plant, or cultivate, but has reward for him for what the beasts eat, or the birds eat or anything else eats out of that.
