The Wisdom of Yahya b. Sa'id

SUMMARY: This hadith is narrated by Yahya b. Sa'id and teaches us something important.

This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Yahya b. Sa'id with the same chain of transmitters.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، جَمِيعًا عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ نَحْوَهُ

This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Yahya b. Sa’id and it teaches us an important lesson about wisdom and knowledge. It is believed that this hadith was passed down from one generation to another in order to remind people of the importance of wisdom and knowledge in life. The narrator, Yahya b. Sa’id was a renowned scholar who was known for his wise teachings which were based on his own experiences as well as those of others around him at the time he lived in Arabia during the 7th century CE . He taught that wisdom should be sought after and used to make decisions in life so that one can live a more meaningful life with fewer regrets or mistakes made along the way .
