EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is narrated by Ibn 'Umar who was a companion of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. It talks about the prohibition of selling fruits such as dates or grains such as ears of corn before they are ripe and safe from blight. The Prophet ﷺ forbade both the seller and buyer in this case. This hadith teaches us to be patient in our dealings with others and to not rush into things without considering their consequences. We should also be mindful when buying or selling goods that we make sure that what we are buying is good quality so that we do not get cheated out of our money or cause harm to someone else by giving them something bad in return for their money.
