QUICK LESSONS:
Ensure quality goods & services
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the prohibition of selling unripe fruits. Allah's Messenger forbade this practice as it is not beneficial to either the seller or buyer. The seller would be taking advantage of a customer by selling them something that is not in its best condition, while the buyer would be receiving something that does not meet their expectations. This hadith teaches us to always ensure that we are providing quality goods and services, and to never take advantage of someone else’s misfortune or lack of knowledge. We should also make sure that we are getting what we pay for, and never settle for anything less than what was promised or expected from us.
