Sahih Muslim 1532a (Book 21, Hadith 57) #10985
The Blessing of Truthful Transactions

SUMMARY: Business transactions should be conducted with truthfulness and transparency in order to be blessed.

Hakim b. Hazim (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Messenger as saying: Both parties in a business transaction have the right to annul it so long as they have not separated; and if they speak the truth and make everything clear they will be blessed in their transaction; but if they tell a lie and conceal anything the blessing on their transaction will be blotted out.

QUICK LESSONS:
Speak honestly and openly during business transactions; Make sure all details are clear before parting ways; Have respect for each other's rights during negotiations; Be truthful in your dealings; Respect each other's decisions regarding annulling of transactions

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of conducting business transactions with truth and transparency. It teaches us that if we are honest and open in our dealings, then Allah will bless our transaction. However, if we lie or conceal anything from the other party involved in the transaction then this blessing will be taken away from us. This hadith also tells us that both parties have the right to annul a transaction as long as they have not separated yet. Therefore it is important for both parties to make sure that all details are clear before they part ways so that there is no confusion later on.
