The Curse of Unlawful Alliance

SUMMARY: Taking a freed slave as an ally without the consent of their previous master is forbidden and will result in the curse of Allah, His angels, and all mankind.

Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Apostle as saying: He who took the freed slave as his ally without the consent of his previous master, there is upon him the curse of Allah and that of His angels and that of the whole mankind, and there will not be accepted from him his obligatory acts or supererogatory acts on the Day of Resurrection. This hadith is narrated through the same chain of transmitters, but with a slight change of words.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the importance of seeking permission before taking a freed slave as an ally. A freed slave is someone who was once owned by another person but has since been released from slavery. According to this hadith, if someone takes a freed slave as an ally without first obtaining permission from their previous master, they will be cursed by Allah, His angels, and all mankind. This means that it is important to always seek permission before entering into any kind of alliance with someone else's property or possessions.
