SUMMARY: This hadith is about a man who found his wife with another man and invoked curses in the mosque. He was then commanded by Allah's Messenger to separate from her.

Ibn Shihab narrated about the invokers of curses and the practice of (li'an) based on the authority of Sahl b. Sa'd, of the tribe of Sa'ida. that a person from the Ansar came to Allah's Apostle and said: Allah's Messenger, tell me about the person who found a man with his wife. The remaining part of the hadith is the same (but) with this addition: They invoked curses in the mosque and I was present there. And he narrated in the hadith: He divorced her with three pronouncements before Allah's Messenger commanded him (to get separation). He separated from her in the presence of Allah's Apostle , whereupon he said: There is a separation between the invokers of curses.

QUICK LESSONS:
Remain calm during difficult situations, Follow Islamic laws regarding divorce instead of invoking curses or taking revenge upon someone else etc..

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about a situation where a man found his wife with another man and invoked curses in the mosque. The Prophet Muhammad then commanded him to separate from her, which he did before being told to do so. This hadith teaches us that it is important to remain calm even when faced with difficult situations, as it can lead us away from sinning or doing something we may regret later on. It also teaches us that divorce should be done in an orderly manner according to Islamic law rather than through invoking curses or other means outside of Islamic law. Furthermore, this hadith reminds us that mosques are places for worship and not for arguments or disputes between people as they should be respected as such at all times.
