This hadith is about the mourning period of a woman who has lost a relative or her husband. According to this hadith from Zainab bint Umm Salama, women should not mourn beyond three days except if it is her husband whom she can mourn for four months and ten days. This hadith teaches us that we should be patient in times of grief and sorrow as it is part of the faith to accept what Allah has decreed with patience.
