Atoning for False Oaths

SUMMARY: Making a false oath and declaring one's wife unlawful is a major sin that must be atoned for. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is an example of how to live life in the best way.

Ibn Abbas (Allah be pleased with them) reported about (declaring of one's woman) unlawful as an oath which must be atoned, and Ibn 'Abbas said: Verily, there is in the Messenger of Allah a model pattern for you.
