Satisfying Desires with Divine Revelation

SUMMARY: This hadith is about how Allah revealed a verse to satisfy the Prophet's desire and 'A'isha's reaction to it.

'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported: I felt jealous of the women who offered themselves to Allah's Messenger and said: Then when Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, revealed this:" You may defer any one of them you wish, and take to yourself any you wish; and if you desire any you have set aside (no sin is chargeable to you)" (xxxiii. 51), I ('A'isha) said: It seems to me that your Lord hastens to satisfy your desire.

QUICK LESSONS:
Turn to God in times of need , Be grateful for His blessings .

EXPLANATIONS:
In this hadith, we learn that Allah is always willing to help us in our times of need. When the Prophet Muhammad was feeling overwhelmed by his many wives, Allah revealed a verse that allowed him to take some time away from them if he wished. 'A'isha, one of his wives, was surprised at how quickly her husband's desires were satisfied by Allah. This teaches us that when we are in need of something or have a desire for something, we should turn to Allah and ask Him for help because He will answer our prayers and provide us with what we need. We should also be grateful for His blessings and never take them for granted.
