QUICK LESSONS:
Speak positively about others

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith emphasizes the importance of speaking positively or remaining silent when witnessing something. It teaches us that we should always strive to speak kindly and respectfully about others and not spread rumors or gossip that could hurt someone’s reputation. We should also remember that silence can sometimes be more powerful than words; if we are unsure of what to say in a situation, it is often best to remain quiet rather than risk saying something wrong or inappropriate. This hadith reminds us that our words have power and can either build up those around us or tear them down; therefore, we must use our words wisely and choose them carefully so as not to cause harm with our speech.
